Pracatum School of Music & Technology
This project is one of the points of action of Associação Pracatum Ação Social that uses methodological strategies that support the musical development of the students, seeking to go beyond theoretical teaching, and also developing a responsible, caring, and a community service attitude.
Their pedagogical proposal consists of the appropriation of popular rhythms and the search for innovation. Thinking of the new technologies applied to music education, educators seek tools that help the student development by increasing its repertoire and musical performance, teaching techniques and musical theories as support for improvisation, creative construction and free practice.
Since its foundation, the School has trained approximately 2000 musicians in a space that goes beyond the classroom, providing the development of studies, researches and productions in the musical field. All this, with a structure that offers the recording studio, classrooms, library, and individual studios for group practice and a room with about 400 diverse instruments. The Pracatum Studio, is available for school students, for musicians and bands from anywhere in the country.

many parts of the country and the world.
Technical and Vocational Courses
Pracatum offers two technical-vocational courses, both regulated and recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Brazil.
The technical-vocational courses of Pracatum prepare the student for the music business, teaching them the steps of preparation, production and dissemination of music, preaching respect and the importance of all professionals involved in the music industry.

Consists of 864 hours of education spread out over two semesters.
